It is located in Aguatavar, a district of Tijarafe. Due to its hillside location facing the coast provides pleasant temperatures year-round.
The centre of Tijarafe is within 5 driving minutes
Casa Gomez is situated in Aguatavar, a district of Tijarafe, located on the road to Puntagorda.
Tijarafe is a small village in the west of the island. There you find a supermarket, a pharmacy, banks, a pizza restaurant and a shole food restaurant. A stroll through the village to the church and the church square leads through narrow lanes and is worthwile.
Enjoying the sun at the Kiosko de Diabolo really puts you in holiday mood. The selection of Tapas changes daily. It pays off to wait until the sunset to take some beautiful pictures of the west coast.
The picturesque neighboring town Puntagorda is only a 15 minute's drive with your rental car. There you find many good restaurants sas well as the weekend market "Mercadillo Puntagorda".

The Prois is the so called smuggler bay of TIjarafe, a beautiful 1 hour hike leads down the coast. You can also park your car at the parking lot (20 driving minutes) and walk 15 minutes down to the bay. Many local people have their small weekend homes there. When the sea is calm you can enjoy swimming there.
More remote beaches and places are: Playa de la Veta, which has a small sandy beach in summer. It is a 20 minute's drive from the Holiday House plus a 30 minutes walk on a steep downhill path. The trail is adventurous and partially leads along a steep rock face offering terrific views.
The next wide sandy beach is in Puerto de Tazacorte within 20 driving minutes from Casa Gomez.
Casa Gomez - small but nice
The Holiday House has been family-owned for 100 years and was fully renovated five years ago.
The total 40m² living space comprises a bedroom, a bathroom as well as a combined living-dining area and is perfect for 2 persons. A large entrance gate provides access to the property following a path down to the house.
The 100m² outdoor area is a bonus.
There is also a beautiful Pergola, partially overgrown with flowers. It is a nice place to make yourself comfortable and read a book. On hot days the swimming pool and an outdoor shower provide cooling.
A beautiful wooden bench in the shadow of a Nispero tree makes a nice sitting corner. Guests are welcome to help themselves an pick some fruits fresh from the tree like pomegranate. The garden is nicely arranged and offers a spacious relaxing area with sea view in front of the Holiday House. Enjoy sun in the morning and pleasant shade during the day on the roofed terrace with its lounge furniture.
At the back of the Holiday House there is a small barbecue with a table and two chairs.
It is a perfect place for a freshly prepared dinner with a glass of wine. You find a washing machine and a toilet at the back of the house.
The terrace provides access to the combined living-dining area.
A special highlight is the wooden wall recessed cabinet as well as a small sitting corner right at the kitchen window with a great view of the garden and the sea. The kitchenette is well equipped with all necessary accessories. If required, the sofa in the living area can be converted into a sofa bed.
In the back area of the Holiday House there are the bathroom with a level entry shower and a bedroom on the right hand side.
The bedroom provides direct access to the roofed terrace and the closet offers plenty of space for your holiday wardrobe.
