At Casa Los Alamos you enjoy a high degree of privacy
Due to the low altitude and the sheltered location, the climate here is the best and warmest in Puntagorda.
The view exactly to the west over the Atlantic is completely free and very impressive, both from the house and from the pool. From February to November, the sun sets beautifully in the sea here.
The house, terrace and pool area are not visible to neighbours.
In the immediate vicinity of the holiday home are only the church of San Mauro (originally from the 16th century), which is very rarely used, and the ruins of the former rectory.
Puntagorda
Casa Los Alamos is located about 1.7km below the centre of Puntagorda.
A rental car is absolutely necessary due to the isolated location away from the village.
In Puntagorda there are several supermarkets, a health food shop, restaurants, bars and a health centre. The weekend market with local products, such as freshly squeezed sugar cane juice, is also worth mentioning.
The surrounding area offers wonderful hiking trails directly from the house. Not far away is the "Puerto de Puntagorda", a natural harbour and popular bathing place with a protected rocky bay and caves.
The furnishings are of high quality and offer a lot of luxury
Casa Los Álamos has been completely and comfortably refurbished.
The guests have a large living room, a kitchen, a bedroom with a double bed, an adjoining room with an additional bed, and a bathroom at their disposal.
A flat screen TV with satellite on the wall in the bedroom and in the living room, as well as a Playstation DVD player provide visual entertainment.
For music lovers, there is an excellent HiFi system with subwoofer and Canton speakers, which has indoor and outdoor speakers and can be connected to your devices via Bluetooth or via HDMI as you wish.
For musicians, there is a e-piano and an acoustic guitar. Internet access is of course also available.
The kitchen is well equipped
The separate kitchen is open to the living room.
A cooker with oven and many cooking utensils make cooking a pleasure even on holiday. A dishwasher is also available.
Perfect coffee enjoyment gets the holiday day off to a good start: whether fully automatic coffee machine, Nespresso, Cafetera or French Press – you choose according to your taste!
The spacious living room opens onto the terrace with two large double doors to the west.
The sea is also in view from the inside. Here, the digital piano finds its place, as well as a comfortable seating set and a dining table for four.
The wood-burning stove with glass viewing window in the living room should not go unmentioned either. Firewood is always available in sufficient quantity and of course free of charge.
Bedroom and bathroom
The large bedroom with double bed is fully air-conditioned.
In an adjoining room there is a spare bed available if needed.
The bathroom has a shower, toilet and washbasin. So that the toilet paper does not have to be collected in the rubbish bin as is usual on the island, special paper is available for you to dispose of in the toilet as usual.
The outdoor area
A large pool (10 x 5m) with a terrace at ground level, massage jets, counter-current system, salt water system and heating system is available for your exclusive use.
The installed heating system raises the water temperature by approx. 3 degrees compared to a non-heated pool. A bathing temperature cannot be guaranteed.
For barbecue fans, there is a modern charcoal barbecue and a beefer that can be operated with gas.
Relaxation and recreation by the pool and on the sunbathing lawns are guaranteed.
A spacious, well-kept garden extends in front of the house and down to the pool level, where comfortable sun loungers await you.
Due to its remote location, the finca is also ideal for amateur astronomers for stargazing, as there is hardly any stray light. A telescope is available.
The washing machine is located in a separate wooden house. A wooden, electrically operated swing gate awaits you at the portal.
